General description text
The Wringer is a grip strength and forearm exerciser. It's been designed from the ground up to be a high quality, long lasting device. Each one is constructed from a combination of Acetal engineering plastic, stainless steel, and rubber....
The Wringer arrived promptly and was extremely well packaged. This is a very well finished and stoutly engineered bit of kit. It is in a different league from similar products. The photos do not do it justice. The level of resistance is finely adjustable due to the fine pitch thread on the thick stainless steel central rod. I bought it for physio for sore wrists and the exercises seem to have sorted that problem. I am have now moved on to strength training. There is enough adjustment to go from very light resistance to quite heavy - enough to turn your forearms to jelly if you are prepared to work your muscles to failure. The one point to note, is that the grips are quite wide. This is not a problem for average adult male hands but if you are 5'2" female with hands to match, the circumference may be a bit much.
This product may seem a bit expensive but it is well worth the price. The company website will even sell you reasonably priced spares in the unlikely event that you need them, so you will not be left with a heavy ornament if you manage to wear something out. Nice to see a British firm getting the engineering and product back-up right.

I had some reservations about the price of this but all of those doubts vanished after trying it out. The build quality is extremely high, the materials used are really in a complete league of their own. The other review mentioned that pictures did not do this product justice and I can see exactly what they meant now.
All of the other products in this catergory do not even come close to what this one can do and Ive probably spent about the same on all of them put together when this one does everything I need it to.
I have purchased multiple hand grips, a thick rubber twist and one of those handles with weights attached to it but all of them missed out something whether it was convenience or being unable to workout parts of the forearm. The Wringer ticks all of the boxes so I think it is worth its price. A great investment if you will.

A superb bit of kit, excellent design and much better than I was expecting.

Very solid piece of equipment. You could confuse the Wringer for being something from the suspension of your car. I've had mine for 3 weeks and it feels like it would last a very long time. Nice machined threads make the twisting action and the tension adjustment feel very precise. One thing I would note is that the diameter of the grips is fairly large. If you have small hands (I do) it might feel a bit awkward at first. But, if you dial back the tension it's fine. This is a premium product, it comes very well packaged. Overall I'm very happy.
