THE WRINGER STORY

HELLO. MY NAME IS BEN KILBEE AND I DESIGNED THE WRINGER. IT HAS HELPED ME INCREASE MY GRIP STRENGTH AND I’M CONFIDENT IT WILL HELP YOU TOO.

I wanted a forearm and grip strength exerciser that worked properly. It had to exercise both arms at the same time, give the muscles a full contraction and stretch, and be a nice compact, portable device. 

Every other device on the market only offered part solutions. They were either cumbersome to use, didn't work all the muscle groups, didn't work the muscles through a full range of motion, or were simply poorly designed.

So I used my product design skills learnt at college/university to create some prototypes to test. More than 8 years and 15+ prototypes later have led to the Wringer as it is today.

The Wringer is made from high-end materials to make sure it can withstand a lot of use and abuse. It works all the muscles of both forearms giving a full range of motion. It's massive steel coil spring and fine adjustment thread give a smooth, even, very controllable workout. Yet it's still very compact and easy to take around with you, be it to the gym, the office, the park… wherever!

My need for the Wringer came from always being skinny. I really wanted to build muscle, but I couldn’t lift enough weight as my grip let me down. I’ve benefited hugely from using the Wringer, I’m not so skinny anymore (though age may have helped there) and I can lift a fair bit more weight. It's helped in many other ways too. My mountain biking has improved with the increase in forearm strength and grip/control. I've also noticed increased control in other daily activities. Lifting boxes, stiff lids on jars, moving furniture, gardening, using tools in my workshop - any activity using my hands has become easier and gained greater control.
